FAQs

What is the Cost of Therapy?

For out-of-pocket clients, individual therapy sessions are $250 for an initial session and $200 for each subsequent/follow-up session.

Sliding scale rates are available upon inquiry.

What is your cancellation policy?

Clients who cancel sessions within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged a $75 cancellation fee.

Can I go through insurance for therapy?

It depends. I am in-network with some plans for New Jersey residents. For those out-of-network, I am happy to provide clients with a superbill to submit to their insurance companies if there are any reimbursements one is eligible to receive.

For New York residents, I am in-network with some insurance plans. Please reach out to discuss further.

How long will I be in therapy?

It depends. Sessions can be short-term, while you're dealing with a particularly difficult life situation. Sessions can also be more long-term as you talk through the happenings of everyday life and look to find different ways to manage your stressors. Goals of therapy can shift and evolve and I’m here to help along the way.

How would you describe your approach?

In sessions, I've found that my clients feel better just by talking through everything on their minds out loud to another person. We can discuss ways to shift your perspective or to approach situations with a different mindset.

What is the cadence of therapy sessions?

Therapy is client-driven and led. We can discuss the frequency of sessions at the initial appointment, but it depends on each client. Some clients want to meet weekly, others every other week or monthly.
